Biography
A career across institutions, technology, and lived experience.
Dr. Marco De Prosperis is an Italian-American executive, scholar, and author with more than twenty-five years of experience across higher education, aerospace, manufacturing, and public administration.
Earlier, he worked at the European Space Agency and in aerospace, contributing to instrumentation and sensor components for MEDET, an experiment carried to the International Space Station aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis mission STS-122 and installed outside ESA’s Columbus laboratory during a spacewalk.
His scholarship examines occupational stress, work systems, equity, and the ways institutions shape human lives. That experience inside complex organizations informs both his nonfiction and the administrative realism of La Barra Nera.
